A long came a spider. I was inspired, by watching a spider spin a web in doorway. I placed a topaz quartz faceted stone in the center and oxidized the cooper,it makes the wirewrap earrings pop.

These wire wrapped beauties, are like day and night, inspired by some royal jewels seen recently at a museum. I loved silver and black as well as silver and pearls, with a post closure, which is a switch for me. Just right for that special ocasion.

I have been taking some lessons from Sharilyn Miller, who has truly inspired me,to not be afraid of power tools, I have learned alot from her DVD's. On this bracelet I used 14 gauge wire that I twisted myself, (you go girl).

As I look out my window, the leaves are falling in colors of yellow, orange and green, I love the colors of fall. I think of the Gem stones Carnelian, Garnets, and Jade. I am on the Isle of St. Marteen in the Neitherlands. Swimming, snorkeling, with my husband. It is so beautiful here. We are staying at a resort called the Pelican. I take a commuter train each day to work, I also take small projects, to work on, people on the train ask me about my jewelry, which allows me to pass out business cards and postcards. I have even sold, some of the pieces , that I was working on. Jewelry makers take your work everywhere. I am so glad it is portable.(Peace)

I love to learn new things, right know it's wire wrapping, it's so exciting, I brought a couple of dvd's from Sharilyn Miller, and I'm having a good time making wire cages, jump rings and ear wires. I will post some new things as soon as I can. I'm also planning my vacation, which is in three weeks. It is well needed. Of course I will take some beading projects with me, to bead on the beach.( Peace)

These two pieces were created today, I was inspired by the light,of the sun, and the earth, for the necklace I used Chalcedony large ovals, with 8mm browm quartz. The earrings inspired by a animal print handbag of mine the two gold rings ad space to the drops, gold filled fishhooks complete.

How to Clean Your Jewelry

Most fine jewelry can be cleaned with a mild liquid soap, warm water.
Soak for a few minutes and dry with a soft,cloth.

Pearls can be scratched so they should be cleaned with soft brush or cloth,
warm water, and a mild liquid soap. Let air dry.

Clean and polish sterling silver jewelry with non-abrasive silver polishing cloth' Sunshine company makes a nice one.(Peace)

Personally I am not a pink person, my husband says my closet looks like the dark hole, so i'm trying to ad color to my wardrobe. I made these lovelies yesterday, then I made a second pair to wear to see if my husband would notice the color change ,quess what he did. Made with .925 sterling silver and faceted strawberry quartz. Pearls Caring for Your Treasures

Pearls they are sooo beautiful, I love each color, and shape.But ladies we must take care of these treasures, if we are to keep them for years to come.

1. Always use a clean dry cloth to clean your pearls. Don't use any chemicals on your pearls, chemicals or cleaners could and will destroy the nacre that is wrapped around your pearls, and nacre cannot be replaced.

2 A rule of thumb with pearls they should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you remove.

3. Do not expose your pearls to hairsprays or perfumes.

4. Pearls should be stored separately , I prefer boxes or cloth bags. Pearls surfaces can be scratched. by others stones or metals.

Take care of your pearls so that you can pass them on and onnnnnnnnnnn. (peace)
